Our market garden
We can’t talk about wellbeing without considering what we are putting into our bodies…
We are working hard on our regenerative, no-dig market garden.
Growing food in this way is important for the environment and also for our health. Small-scale organic farms that provide high-quality nutritious produce to the local community can play an important role in helping to heal our planet as well as our bodies.
We now offer a weekly or biweekly subscription “veg bag”. Our veg bag contains a selection of lovingly grown seasonal vegetables and fruit.
Micro-greens and Mushrooms
We all know how eating lots of fruit and veg is good for us, well micro-greens are a fabulous source of nutrition. Research has demonstrated that depending on the variety, micro-greens can be up to 40% more nutrient-dense than their mature counterparts.
Eating mushrooms can have many benefits . Mushrooms are a great plant source of vitamin D, are brilliant for our gut and heart health and can also help support our immune system. Finally there is some evidence that certain mushrooms may be beneficial in the management of neurodegenerative diseases.
We are currently growing delicious micro-greens and mushrooms on the farm which will be available for purchase soon.
